Mother Nature’s masterpiece, Ponta de São Lourenço, Madeira

Harsh cliffs, blue sea, waves, sun… just breathtaking! I could’ve easily spent hours just letting the wind blow in my hair and watch the waves hit the rocks below. This place is Ponta de São Lourenço at Madeira, the most eastern part of the Island.

There is a viewing point you can easily visit by car, but also a hiking trail on which you can get much further down towards the tip of the cape. We didn’t do hiking this time, but this one is definately on my bucket list in case I get to go to Madeira again one day!
